Antone Lakes Ranch

The Antone Ranch is known throughout the Northwest for its excellent hunting and fishing opportunities.  The Antone Ranch is located in Wheeler County in Eastern Oregon about 15 miles east of Mitchell.   Six lakes offer trophy Rainbow Trout fishing,  trout range from 12 inches to 6 pounds.  In addition there are Elk, Deer and Antelope along with ducks, geese, ruffled grouse, quail, sage grouse, chukkers, bear, cougars, bobcat, beaver, muskrat, mink and coyote all making the Ranch their home.   Beginning in the high desert at 3000 feet, the ranch rises to 6000 feet in a park-like pine forest covering a total of 40,000 acres.  The lakes range in size from 4 to over 100 acres. Accommodations are in a 3-year-old cabin. Trips are limited to only 8 anglers at a time so crowding is not an issue.  Antone's fishing  season is April to August. Price includes access to all waters, use of cabin facilities, and orientation.  Call us to reserve your Guided Hunting and/or Fishing adventure today.   Due to the remoteness of the area, we recommend at least two nights stay.

Cost:  $215 per angler per day - Includes lodging and access to all ranch lakes

Yamsi Ranch on the Upper Williamson River in Southern Oregon

This historical 5000 acre ranch is located above Chiloquin, Oregon and offers 10 miles of private access to the world-famous Williamson River.  The Williamson River is fed by five springs on the property. Coming out of the sandy hillsides at 45 CFS, the river has the same flow all year and is not Bottomartpg1affected by spring runoff and late season high temperatures.  The water is crystal clear and a consistent 42 degrees year round.  Trophy Trout up to 30” long live and thrive in these chilly waters. The fish are native rainbow trout, descendants of the ancients, and eastern brook trout planted in the 30’s, now as wild as the wild horses who occasionally roam across our range.Pg3Streamside

Also located on the property is the 300 acre Hyde Lake which is stocked with Rainbows, Kamloops and Donaldson steelhead averaging 15-28" in length.  The Hydes have lived on the property for five generations.  Accommodations are in a 7 bedroom ranch house built in 1928 or a two story cabin great for larger groups.  Meals and riverside BBQ's are casual and relaxed and arranged around prime fishing hours.  They are a wildlife sanctuary so bird watching and nature hikes are a great past time for non-fishing companions.  If you'd like a guide or want some fly fishing instruction while at Yamsi Ranch, John is available.

Cost is $300.00 per night per person with a minimum stay of 3 nights.  Popular times to fish the ranch are in June for the Black Drake hatch, July for the Hexagenia, Hoppers in September and October Caddis.  Some of the best fishing is found in the fall, both September and October are excellent months to fish at Yamsi Ranch.  Throughout the year you can find prolific hatches of mayflies, caddis and Terrestrials.

Now booking for 2008.  Call now to reserve your preferred date.
