In late 1996, Rich Youngers got the opportunity to purchase his favorite fly shop in Salem, Oregon when the current owner decided it was time to sell.  The shop acquisition realized a long time dream of his, to own a fly shop and the fact this this was the old McNeese shop was just icing on the cake.  Since January, 1997, Rich and Kathy have been a vital part of the Willamette Valley's fly fishing community.  Rich has a long history of fishing starting out as a kid bass fishing in Kansas.  With over 30 years of Oregon fishing experience under his belt, and more than 20 years of being a professional fly fishing guide in Oregon, Rich has a wealth of stories and technical expertise to share with our customers.

Where to find us!!!

Creekside Flyfishing is located in downtown Salem, Oregon at 350 Liberty St SE on the tree-lined banks of Pringle Creek in the Pringle Park shopping center.  We are a full service Oregon fly shop offering quality equipment and clothing.  Check out our on-line fly fishing catalog for fly fishing tackle and clothing.  We offer quided fly fishing trips on many of Oregon's most famous waters as well as fly tying classes and fly fishing schools.  Our Oregon fishing report  is updated often and includes river levels and suggested fly patterns. 

Driving directions to our shop:

From Portland, take I-5 south to exit 253 (Hwy 22/Mission Street) turn right onto hwy 22/Mission Street and head west approx 3 miles to Liberty Street.  Turn right on Liberty and go approx 2.5 blocks north.  We are located on the north side of Pringle Park Plaza.  The Pringle Park Plaza building is a dark tan with orange accents and a new copper roof.

All customer information received by Creekside Flyfishing will be held confidential.  Under no circumstances will we share, sell, lease or otherwise disseminate your name, address, email address or anything else without your explicit prior approval. 

Mail Order 

Exchange - Return Policy  

Exchanges:  We will gladly exchange an item within 30 days of purchase for a similar item of a different size and/or color (if available).  You are also welcome to exchange for another item of similar price or we can issue you a store credit in the form of a gift certificate.  It is your responsibility to return the original item pre-paid to us.  Sorry, shipping charges cannot be credited.  Items must be in new, resalable condition with all tags and in original packaging.  

Refunds:  A restocking fee of 10% will be charged on items being returned for a refund unless return is due to our error or product defect.  All items submitted for refund must be accompanied by a dated receipt and be in their original packaging and suitable for resale.  We do not offer refunds if date of purchase is past 15 days.  Items that have been used are not returnable.  Shipping charges are not refundable unless return is due to our error.  If using a credit card, refunds will be credited to your account. If paying by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you.  Note:  If a refund is requested on an item that we paid shipping on, the actual shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.   

For your protection, we highly suggest insuring full value when returning products.  No refunds will be given until we have received the returned goods in acceptable, resalable condition.
