All of these locations offer unique flyfishing opportunities.  With over two miles of private access on Oregon's famous Williamson River, Lonesome Duck is one of the most popular fishing resorts in the area.  The Williamson and Wood rivers are legendary, you have the opportunity to catch a wild trout in excess of 10 lbs.  You just can't find a better fly fishing opportunity.  With over two miles of private river frontage, each day offers the opportunity of an exciting fly fishing adventure.   Lonesome Duck Ranch offers catch and release fly fishing opportunities just 20 miles from Klamath Falls.

Lonesome Duck provides some of the best opportunities on the river to fish the hexagenia hatch which typically happens in late June and into July. The large mayflies emerge from the silt bottom at sunset each evening and provide an irresistible meal for the big wild trout. At Lonesome Duck you are able to walk out your door and into the excitement of the hex hatch.
 
Professional fishing guides are advisable and available at Lonesome Duck. They are all certified licensed guides. They are also certified good people. A day on the river is enjoyable as well as educational.  Spend a day or two with a guide then use the ranch boats to fish on your own.

The best time to go to Lonesome Duck is from May 20th through October 31st.  Lodging is in one of three waterfront cabins on the 170 acre Lonesome Duck Ranch.  The following rates are based on a 2 night minimum and include lodging for two people.   50% deposit is due at time of reservation.  Check in is at 3 P.M., check-out is at 11:00 A.M.

All houses have fully equipped kitchens in addition to a gas BBQ on the porch. Pots, pans and linens are all included in your house – just bring your favorite ingredients.

 

Eagles Nest Lodge   $300 per night   (Accommodates 6-8 people)
Rivers Edge Lodge   $300 per night   (Accommodates 6-8 people)
Arrowhead Cottage $250 per night   (Accommodates 1-4 people)

 Each additional adult is $50 per night and each additional child 6-12 yrs is $25 per night
 
NOTE:  For groups of 6 or more they offer a meal inclusive stay if requested. Great BBQ’s and home style meals are the specialty of the ranch.
